I don't think anyone will argue with the (proven) potential for AI in the #UKManufacturing sector, but what about if it was used to predict where, when and who would be involved the next criminal act?
This is a reality, and something that has been developed over the last few years.

- where it is likely to take place
- when it will happen
Although the AI is far from a finished, the journey has definitely started.
The main issue they are facing is that of profiling. Always a sticky topic. Areas of high poverty, large ethnic diversity areas, have repeatedly topped the risk charts.
But supposedly, they get it right, would you be happy to be arrested or detained (or a close family member) because an AI algorithm had predicted a criminal event?
